I've never got my Olympus C-300 to work with any Linux distro. I gather
from the net that there is a hardware fault which causes Linux to reject
it as a USB storage device. Windows is (so it is said) less fussy, and
will connect to anything.
However, I read a really good tip (? on NewsForge) which is to get a USB
memory card reader. This should be mounted by Linux, and all I will have
to do is stick the memory card in the other end.
As soon as I have saved up the ten quid I'll put in an order with Dabs.
