I believe this could be correct. I seem to remember Unisys' GIF was never an
EU/UK patent, and therefore we could use them willy nilly. Can't see any
real commercial exploitation of this fact anyway though, unless this email I
received tomorrow (sic) is useful. Yes, I got an email from a time traveller
asking if I knew of a design for a time machine that could be built out of
2003 parts. Sigh.
