Hello All,
I thought it would be high time I introduced myself, I've been lurking
for a while ;-).....
how things of moved on from ZX spectrums, and C64's,and BBC
B's....;-)... How things have changed in the world of computing....
So, I'm keen to get involved with you people, I can offer the following
to the group, there no cost, no strings attached, an no secret agenda
that I'm trying to promote, I'm into linux in a big way... and I hope
you people are too....?

Well, they can be roudy places at time's, so I can see the point.
There's a small Venue I could recommend, by April I'll have 802.11b
(Ground Zero ;-). point and perhaps even wired internet access that we
can use, if you think that would be useful, the use of a projector is
not out of the question either, if you think that would help out.. I can
also arrange for a section of the place to be made private, and at no
cost, so we can do our networking in peace.???? how does this sound?
It's not out of the question to get some kinda of nibbles food arranged
either, but obviously we'd all have to all chip in for it. No such thing
as open source food....I'm affraid.
Has anyone mentioned wiki's at all? do you think they are useful, I've
got one up and running on my server, seems like fun.. I'm willing to
devote some bandwidth and spare processor cycles if you think it
enchance the group?. ???????
so , if i've rambled on, wasted bandwidth, etc etc, take your time to
mull over this device..I was blown away after using it today. Powerful
enough to play mpeg movies, cool enough to run linux 2.4 kernel, powered
by the trolltech qt libs, full linux ip stack, and wifi
capablity......... and pure amazement when I was shell prompt greeted me
with......
bash-2.05$
;-)... ah, I want one... ;-)

Let me know,
