Hi,
In response to Godfrey's post...
* Sorry to hear that you don't go to a pub. The suggestion for meeting in
the pub came because an informal, central location was needed and those of
us who turned up last time thought it seemed like a good idea at the time.
I am not suggesting that all meetings should take place there, merely that
this next meeting does so in April. When we have a formal meeting
obviously an alternative location will be required, and for the sake of
those who don't want to meet in a pub we can arrange to meet in a
different location in May. I want to get things planned weeks in advance
so that more people are likely to turn up to meetings/forward plan.
* I volunteer to help do something with the website, if this means taking
over then fine, whatever. So I can liase with a few others and sort out a
page or two on past meetings, how to subscribe, etc. It would also help to
know what is available in the way of scripting/databases.
Let's please start thinking about another "formal" meet soon.
Jon.
