Hi,

Sorry, I just *never* go to a pub. (Never imbibe alcoholic beverages either.)

There have been several times that a LUG member has offered to update/develop
the Nottingham web pages. And I am still waiting for the pages to be supplied
so I can upload 'em. Never mind, perhaps some kind person will mail me a page
reporting on the meeting, or do the whole rewrite for me, maybe. In fact,
anyone want to take over the running of the LUG website mailing list and all?
Don't get me wrong, please, I am not bitter about anything, Just that I don't
seem to have the time to do much, what with my involvement in so many other
groups.

To show how lazy I am (short of time) I have written a script called
'publish' that will look at the current directory, and using a set of values
in a file, connect to the correct web server and upload the new pages to that
site. That way I can have 6 web sites in different directories, but just one
command to update the pages. I am also developing a perl script that can
apply a consistent layout to a set of web pages.

Greets to all.
Godfrey
