Yar,

I've managed to get slackware to boot on the baby...seems to do the
job..

slackware seems to be asking for 3xroot disks? rather than the one I
have created?

(text.gz) confused? I will be.. anyone install slackware, I can't seem
to work out what files I need (brainfreeze).

I was actaully amazed the tom's boot disk actually managed to pick up my
netgear pcmcia card correctly, dhcp it, and get on the network....

now if that ain't cool, I dunno what is.

Somebodies donating (loaning) me a wireless card next week, Jon if your
around do you think I can loan a wireless card off you for a some heavy
'network testing'?, so I will be fully mobile with my brand spanking new
T1910CS (486sx 8megs of RAM!)....Lazarus indeed.

Hardware is a bit thin on the ground here, so I have to make do with
what I have, it's all very 'Mad Max 2' , post aploclyptic machines
whiring away....although it's pretty good fun getting 'rubbish' and
turning into working X terminals ;-).

Laters,
Lee
