Problem is - all these emails are talking to ourselves. Perhaps there is merit in the idea that they should be addressed to
constituency MPs. I'm sure the e addresses are readily available. Perhaps when found that information could be
interesting to others if read in this correspondence. There might even be interest in voting records, or quotes from
particular MPs on their attitudes in this area. I believe - naively I'm sure - that the problem is that our politicians are
completely unfamiliar with this area, completely uneducated by a disinterested electorate, and in the hands therefore of
the paid officials & advisors. These in turn are employees in a position where it is more than their job's worth to neglect to
turn any stone which may add to the sense of power and importance of their Chiefs and Departments. But it is still a
police state - as I write this I am uncomfortable that my name is so openly displayed! This tells all we need to know about
the general atmosphere.
You don't need a speaker. Speak directly, yourselves.
