I've installed SuSE 8 and Redhat 7.3 on various Proliant boxes with no
trouble... Not sure about the blades, but think it's supported.

Subject: [nottingham] To Raid 5 or not Raid 5, that is the question?

I've decided to build a nice linux server with a RAID 5 (hardware)
configuration. DELL and COMPAQ srping to mind, but I don't want to get
into a mess with incomplete drivers, weird PERC controller issues, and
the like. So what who's hardware can give me the best deal? Or a build
it yourself job? Perhaps Server Blades that John's into, or colbalt a
raq?

Cheers,
Lee
