Happy newy ear (or something like that).
Nottingham LUG made it to the LUG of the month spot in Issue 23 (Jan 2002) of
Linux Format. I would have liked more, but I guess with a limit on the words
and anyway I'm not the editor, it is the best I could have hoped for in the
circumstances.
The web page has been updated to mention it, and I finally got round to
writing a report for our own web site. Apologies if I did not mention your
name, but I did not get a list of who brought what on the night.
Now, for the future. We have had a number of requests to repeat the evening.
What say you? Sometime in February or March? It's just that I cannot spend
all my time cajoling others into supporting this club, so say yes only if you
want to help with it. The LUG is what you make it. Are there any suggestions
for other meeting topics, or an alternative venue?
