And there is another subscriber from Nottingham - me :-). I'd be using
Linux a lot more if my Zoom USB ADSL modem would work :-(.
Anyone else got one? Any workarounds or advice?

Heya all,
Just to let you know, you've got a new subscriber lurking in the midst of
Calverton, Nottingham. I also wondered if any of you knew that there is (and
has been for some 25 years) a Nottingham Microcomputer Club, which meets at
the sherwood community centre from 7pm - 10.30pm every monday night. I just
thought it might be the ideal venue for a lug to get togeather at some stage
:)
If you're interested, i've been happily running debian for the past year and
whilest not perhaps having attained 'guru' status, I'm fairly confident. I
use KDE 3.1 alpha with some success and gloat over all the other Computer
Club members who are still stuck with windows. Unfortunatley, they get to
gloat back when I have to boot into windows to play Medal of Honour, but
this is quite a rare occasion so I don't mind.
Anyhow, I shall leave you all in peace for now. Enjoy your evening :)
Regards,
Philip
