Unfortunately, I'll be leaving the area for a few months while uni is
back on, so although Nottingham city centre would have been more
convenient for me (as I don't drive) it's really a moot point. However
I would suggest a meeting place that is decently served by public
transport - just a thought.

I'll probably look into joining the Canterbury LUG too, if there even is
one, and I have plans to advertise a Linux installation service for
folks on campus who want to switch but are a bit nervous about it. I'm
thinking I'll put up some posters and offer to do installations for
anyone who's interested, because for many partitioning and all that is
the scariest part, and when they're up an running with Linux they're
perfectly fine. Sound worthwhile?
