Hi Gavin,

The feeling at the meeting was that a simple but useful site would be
better than a flashy site that gave no real gain.

In my opinion polls and forums are just fluff - why have a forum if we
have the mailing list (with archives) and a poll can likewise be done
with the list - a web version just impersonalises it. We aren't likely
to get the kind of traffic required to make a poll useful with regards
to people that aren't on the list.

Paul: You mentioned that four people promised they would a "new look"
site - I hope you didn't mean me. In case you did, I'll make reparations
in the form of a small tidy up of your robin tux:

improvement, but not much :)

Cheers,

Roger
