Dropped by Maplins on Friday, and there's a deal on cordless optical wheel
mice by A4 Tech, £20 which seemed like a good price for a rechargeable
device. Being a bit fed up of cleaning mouse balls and rollers, as Maplins
take things back within 14 days, I thought I'd give one a whirl.
So it worked first time with Linux, the recharging uses a USB cable (thought
if you have Nokia mobile charger that works to). The only draw back, is you
have to remember to click on a button (best right-click and then left click
somewhere safe), to wake the mouse up from it's slumbers.
Just wondered if anyone has used any A4 Tech stuff, on the face of it, it
seems very similar to MicroSloth optical mice. The only possible glitch I've
seen so far, is might have to recharge the mouse much sooner than advertised,
though it works fine running off power provided through a USB cable.
