I've set up a dial-up account on NTL using a Smoothwall Firewall, its real
easy - and even easier for fixed connections so you should have even fewer
problems if you took this route. Aparently Smoothwall supports most popular
cable modems (not that I've had chance to use it this way, of course, my
connection uses an RJ45).
