I disagree. I've made a point of mentioning the "L" word several times during
any conversation with NTL.
If Linux users don't declare their OS of choice as often as possible, NTL (and
other companies) will never get the idea that there is a market.

During the last year Linux overtook the Mac as the world number 2 consumer
OS [0], and yet the Mac still has a higher mainstream profile. We are too quiet
by half.

[0] according to some sources, which I happen to believe.
