:-) I spent the day getting calls from a client who had lost their ADSL
and needed me to repeatedly explain whose fault it was...

Yup, will do.

The number of luckers is always quite high. Some say it's "rude" or
something to lurk for ages but I don't think it is really.

Yes, OxLUG are doing stuff and I imagine that the London groups are. I've
*probably* got some kind of exams happening around then or something but
I'm interested in helping out with stuff in Nottingham.

I'm hoping to have Easy Penguin Ltd. registered soon to do commercial
Linux support services - in case anyone is interested...hire me/us :P

The trouble for me, as someone who does Linux/Solaris consulting is in
finding people who want such services! I'm hoping by having a company name
then a few of us who are involved can find more clients, but I'm certainly
very interested in talking about this both from a personal viewpoint and
as a generic issue that needs resolving. Actually, on this topic, I'd just
out of interest quite like to know what kinds of GNU/Linux related
companies there are in the Midlands area - I'm not "native" to the area.

Jon.
