It is. I've used a pair of them for years. I personally like to take
them out of PNP mode, and set them to something like io=0x300 irq=9,
and in nearly every system I've ever set up, that works ok.

As has already been said, get a DOS boot disc, and try the setup program
on the drivers disc (which I think someone's emailed you).

The D-link cards are actually one of the nicers ISA NICs you'll find.
Mind you, I've been having trouble with an old Realtek PCI NIC (the old
circular problem of no drivers, so no network connection, so can't
download drivers).

On a slightly different note... for those of you that have seen the
plea for help on the Tinyman project in April LXF (page 21) - yes I'm
the same guy. For anyone that likes retro-gaming, drawing sprites, or
would like to learn/improve their C (although there's not much coding
left to do, it's nearly complete), give me a shout.

Regards

Steve
