I have booked the meeting room and the hall at the Dunkirk Community Centre
for Thursday 15th November from 6pm to 9pm
Thanks for all your suggestions and offers of help. I now need some definite
offers -
person to bring food (soft drinks, snack saus. rolls, vege samosas, etc)
will give approx numbers nearer the date, with a budget to pay for it.
person to set up network (either floppy disk script or printed notes)
person to contact local Uni and college IT depts (*teaching* staff please)
someone to write notice for local press (ASAP)
all folks that can to bring their machines to demonstrate on
can anyone get a projector gizmo to plug in monitor socket?
I plan to do presentation using KOffice (what else?)
