However, this has mixed blessings for some people.
The cost of software licenses and maintenance is an important factor.
The turn-around time, from finding a problem to fixing it, is another.
Open Source software has big advantages here.
The ease with which Open Source software can be adapted/tailored to suit,
doesn't carry much weight for people who are not familiar with programming.
The rate at which Open Source software matures may not be relevant when
people are only interested in fully working results.
But I agree, this is definitely worth "pushing".
