Hi,

Due to the overwhelming silence on my suggestion, with just one offer of
help, I guess no one really wants to bother with evangelizing our fave OS?

If I have it wrong, and you guys really would help organising an evening
where we can put the case for linux, then I will go ahead with getting a room
booked and draft out an advert for the local paper. I have an offer to
sponsor the evening (well upto a hundred smackers or so) so no probs getting
a room and some food - I just need volunteers to help with:
setting up machines (sponsor offers loan of several machines incl RaQs);
demonstrating desktop and server operations;
contacting press and other bodies.

Well, is this the time we ignite the flame of enthusiasm, or do I hang a
notice on the clubhouse saying 'in hibernation' ?

Godfrey
