Hmm... dhcpcd and dhclient both mention the DHCP/BOOTP RFCs somewhere in
their man pages/READMEs/other docs. pump doesn't. Telling.

Sounds like time to pull out the source code to me. I bet this is a
combination of the newer TCP/IP implementations blowing it up. Anyone
fancy doing a rewrite?
