Yes. pump was crap. just sat there and didn't obtain an IP address.
dhclient worked first time and has for the last couple of months, and my
IP address stayed even in spite of the gateway going tits up earlier,
after I upgraded its RAM a bit. A situation that was somewhat surprisingly
resolved by me getting annoyed and kicking the machine - it's been up and
running ok since.
