I did once.... mkLinux installed onto a Jaz Drive... yck. I remember the
pain being that the older macs don't seem(?) to be able to boot direclty
from disk [into Debian], and require you to keep a small MacOS install
around to load the Boot-loader from. [This news is probably hopelessly out
of date.]
