I'm running 2.4.13 and that's pretty okay. 2.4.14 was one of the ones
that didn't compile straight out of the released tarball (I really,
really hope we've seen the end of that) so I've not bothered applying
the fix yet to see if that's any good as well, but I tend to keep on the
bleeding edge, largely because I'm hoping one of the USB updates will
fix the period problems with my Zip drive.
