Is anyone else still having troubles, I've been having troubles ever-since I
came back from the ISP at ~3am yesterday morning...
After sweet thanking one of the Cardiff droid I got for to read a little of
the internal status report to me: Snipets that he actually bothered to
readout, contained: that ``linux server k9-6'' went down, and also there
also seems to be a problem with one of the UBRs, requiring a reboot, then a
hardware swap-out after it finally died ~9:16am Sunday.
I've had no problem with SSH/IRC sessions, and apparently users in Scotland
have thanked NTL for the *speed-up* they've expirenced today(!); so I guess
that quite alot is actually down south of the border...
Normally tunnelling around the inktomi's works, but even binding Squid
(located elsewhere's, off a DCCL block) to listen on port 3456 didn't work
either. -- I was wondering whether they'd started transparently proxying
the proxy ports?!... :)
