Well I tried again to use xchat, around midnight.
I could see Toby there, but no response .. something
good on TV still? Lots of things in the gui are not
set up well - like the Help button doesn't do much yet!

Frustrating part about it is that I really needed for use
with an eGroup aka yahoo group, but they seem to need java
and expect a Windows setup. I spent ages with lynx and
managed to get yahoo to recognise me as a member of the
group even though I wasn't using Windows s/w (consumed
lots of cookies though) and waded through their help pages
to no avail.

Anyone got any experience in this direction?
Anyone not afraid to admit it?

See you tomorrow evening in the Limelite.

Ted.
