Try typing FHS into www.google.com/linux there's some fairly good
explanations of the structure around, but exactly where slips my mind at
present.

Not sure, we'll be able to instantly solve your probs, as we're moving into
7.1, and my prev exp of SuSE was back with 6.1 a couple of years back. Do
check out that portal and their support DB though, it is often a goldmine.
