I tend to just use sox for most things, used to play with something called
Sound Studio too - also esdcat/esddsp helped me record about 10GB of
G&S concert audio in about 1998/1999 or so (obviously not having largefile
support was annoying at the time, but workaroundable).

If you find any please do let me know because I'm on the lookout myself
having just bought a webcam (which is also about to get tied in to my
xscreensaver to use "motion" when I'm away from the computer)- Linux
User did a review of some softwarea while ago, and I've heard things about
Gnome Meeting too. I'll mail back when we finally find some software which
supports standards as well as Microsoft Netmeeting (which is "supposedly"
standards based in itself).
Oh and btw, who's still around Nottingham over Christmas?
