"Optimal Golomb Rulers!
On Thursday, July 13, 2000 at 21:43 UTC distributed.net has officially
restarted work on the search for the Optimal 24-mark Golomb Ruler, and on
August 1, 2000 distribution of OGR-25 has begun. Our current overall network
rate is 182.49 Giga-nodes per second! Be sure to download and install the
latest clients if you do not have them already. Visit the Optimal Golomb Rulers
project page for more details about this exciting project!

RC5-64 is continuing to gain popularity! 127.24 gigakeys per second is our RC5-64 rate.
Take a look at what that means in real-world terms, and then look into joining
us yourself. Every CPU can be put to use."

Upto others.

Either is fine.
"Optimal Golomb Rulers! is a good math, crypto thing to work on.

RC5-64 is just an attempt to crack the algorithim. Worth while just to see how
hard it really is to crack modern crypto systems.

One the back of this.

Any one had any expereince of Beowolf clusters?

Something that really geeks me up..

Especially when thinking of the above........
