This "debate" is getting a bit strong for me, and I certainly don't want to
start a flame-war on the list! I 99.9% agree with Jon's above comment, except
for one tiny point:
Windows is packaged as a "product"; whereas Linux is more of a framework or
toolkit, so you can use it as a starting point to build a webserver or fancy
workstation or router or whatever. So this is probably more an issue of
marketing perceptions rather than technology. I suspect we're just arguing two
sides of the same coin here :-)
