YaSTs package installer is no competition for apt, yes. But, it ties
together system administration into one, coherent menu based system.
Debian does not.

PS.
If there's a meeting sometime between 27th April and June 1st (ie when
I'm in Nottingham) I'm happy to bring along my new shiny Compaq iPAQ
which is now running linux-2.4 with nifty X things and a touch screen
interface. Anyone got/know how to make a serial keyboard?
