I discovered the problem -> mandrake 7.2 distribution.
the Apache-AdvancedExtranetServer/1.3.14 install by default did not support
DSO. Any way an install from source of Apache solved the problem.
If interested I'm currently using JRun developer edition (free) limited to 3
users with apache also gives support for EJB.
I have another question. A private project in java requires serial port
communication with wavecom gsm modem. Has any one any experience
with javax.comm (I here that this is not linux compatable). or with coding
in java for serial comm gererally or any usefull www links?
